SRN — Sistem Registri Nasional — is Indonesia's umbrella National Registry System for recording climate-related actions, including mitigation projects, adaptation actions, and climate finance flows. SRN was established under Permen LHK 71/2017 as the data backbone the country uses to track delivery against its NDC.
SRN-PPI (Pengendalian Perubahan Iklim, Climate Change Control) is the most prominent slice of SRN — it is the carbon-trading-relevant subset that holds project records and unit issuances for credits intended for IDXCarbon trading or international transfer. The broader SRN system also captures non-carbon climate actions (adaptation projects, climate-finance grants). KLHK operates both, with the SRN-PPI portal at apeksi.menlhk.go.id and the broader SRN portal at srn.menlhk.go.id.
