IDXCarbon — branded Bursa Karbon Indonesia — is the carbon spot exchange operated by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (PT Bursa Efek Indonesia, IDX). It launched on 26 September 2023 as the official venue for trading Indonesian carbon units, mandated by the carbon-economic-value (Nilai Ekonomi Karbon, NEK) reforms set out in Perpres 98/2021 and operationalised by OJK regulations.

The primary instrument traded on IDXCarbon is the SPE-GRK unit issued through SRN-PPI. Trading mechanisms include auction, regular spot market, negotiated trades, and a marketplace board. Initial liquidity has been thin and dominated by power-sector compliance buyers; subsequent regulatory packages — including Perpres 110/2025 opening international trading — are aimed at deepening the order book.
